NC Mobility provides a wide array of mobility equipment for customers with upcoming surgeries, family members coming in town, or vacations. Some of our most popular rental items include lift chairs, full electric hospital beds, full electric patient lifts, transport chairs, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, powerchairs, walkers, rollators, knee scooters, portable oxygen concentrators (POC) and ramps.

How do I rent mobility equipment?

We prefer you talk to a live agent so you can make an educated decision and be happy with the rental equipment provided!

How fast can I book mobility equipment?

To ensure equipment availability, we recommend that you contact us at least 48 hours in advance for equipment rentals. Of course, in an emergency situation, we’ll try to get you the equipment you need as fast as we can.

Does NC Mobility sell mobility equipment?

Yes! NC Mobility customers can purchase new mobility equipment at NC Mobility's discounted prices. Visit our Online Store to browse all the products we have available. I am heavier than the average person. Will the equipment be suitable for my needs?

What are your rental rates?

Our rental rates vary according to the destination, rental duration, and your requested pick-up / drop-off points. Please note that all quotes are provided in US dollars. Our prices are always all-inclusive, so you don’t need to worry about any hidden fees, including taxes, deposits, or shipping / delivery charges. We guarantee you will always be quoted the most economical rental package available to meet your needs. How do I pay for the equipment rental?

NC Mobility accepts payment by major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept HSA cards as well.

Where do I pick up and drop off the equipment?

NC Mobility will deliver the equipment right to your hotel, residence or venue. For hotel rentals, simply leave the equipment at the hotel bell desk. Call us toll-free at (800) 674-9349 option 1 and we’ll help make the most convenient delivery arrangements for you.

When do I recharge the equipment's batteries?

The battery on your mobility scooter/powerchair requires charging each day - just plug the power cord into a standard outlet at the end of the day and allow it to charge overnight. Some equipment will have a built-in charger, while others will come with a separate off-board charger. Our reps will ensure you understand how to use the mobility scooter/powerchair you’ve rented, and you can always call us toll-free at (800) 674-9349 option 1 if you have any questions.

Will the equipment fit into the trunk of a car?

Transportable mobility scooters/powerchairs can be disassembled and loaded into the trunk of a medium to full-sized car (with the heaviest piece weighing between 35 and 60 pounds). Standard/Heavy Duty mobility scooters/powerchairs cannot be disassembled and are more suitable to be transported in a minivan or SUV. What areas do you provide delivery to?

We provide delivery to the Triangle and surrounding areas and charge a minimal delivery fee. Here are just a few other cities we service frequently: Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Charlotte, Pinehurst, Fayetteville, Wilmington, Jacksonville, Rocky Mount, Greenville and all their surrounding areas.
